Betty Martin earned a BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and an MFA in creative writing from Arcadia University in Glenside, Pennsylvania. She writes daily in her home studio where she lives with various plants, a husband, and grown children who show up sporadically. Her work has been published in literary journals and has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize and Best of the Net. She is currently hard at work polishing her debut novel.
